Higher Grounds Coffee House

Let us first say that we, at Heart of the Father Church, have great respect for all of the Christian churches and ministries that are operating in a "traditional" way. We wholeheartedly believe that God has designed different churches to effectively minister to different people. In our case, we feel that God has called us to bring the church to the people. For that reason, much of what we do may look different from what you may expect at a "traditional" church. However, we are passionately devoted to Jesus Christ and His Word will always be the standard for our faith and conduct.

We wanted the advantage of being able to fully use our facility 7 days a week, for more than church events. We wanted a gathering place that would bring all walks of the community together under one roof without the tradition of a church building. We wanted the opportunity to bring God's love to the people in an informal setting. And thus, Higher Grounds Coffee House was born.

Higher Grounds Coffee House, a non-profit organization, opened its doors August 10, 1999. Run by an all volunteer staff, we have the largest menu around, serving only the best gourmet drinks, desserts, and sandwiches. We take pride in the extensive selection of quality products we serve, and the local charites we are able to contribute to, as a result. Yet, what we consider even more valuable is our unique atmosphere. Just like the TV show Cheers, this trendy coffee house is "a place where everybody knows your name". It's that feeling you get when you come in from the cold. The primary purpose for Higher Grounds is simple: it provides a daily means of reaching out to the community by demonstrating God's love... which is being a true example of Christ according to 1 John 3:18. As an added benefit, it gives Heart of the Father church members a place to serve God and the community, as well as developing strong friendships with each other. We, at Heart of the Father Church, consider ourselves truly fortunate to have the privilege of operating this extraordinary ministry.
